Lisa Flynn Admissions Coordinator for A Road to Recovery Admissions – Lisa Flynn Admissions Coordinator for A Road to Recovery Admissions.My name is Lisa Flynn I’m the admissions coordinator here at A Road to Recovery. What I love about this program is the small family like environment. I feel the clients here get very individualized care from our clinicians. My job here is to feel the calls, calling in looking for treatment. Some of the things that I like to tell people is that this is a very small facility, 36 bed max caseload. We have a few clinicians to handle all the clients and psychiatrists on staff and also do verification of benefits and we look into insurance to try to see what the insurance will cover for treatment. I also follow through and make sure that people are comfortable as they come in and do basic assessments and make sure that their fit for this level of treatment and that they adjust well to the facility. I also assist with the discharge planning afterwards. After care is a very important part of treatment and we believe coordination with family, sober living homes, and outpatient therapy is essential to the success of someone completing the program. It’s a very rewarding job to see someone come in and to follow through on treatment and to change an entire personality. It’s something that I enjoy doing and I would look forward to working here for a long time.
