In my college we are doing a tv show and this question is our topic, currently the NHS is giving free treatment to drug addicts however should they continue to this or should addicts pay because it was there choice in the first place to start on drugs?

A lot of people would disagree with me being that drug addiction is considered an illness but I think that they should pay for it themselves. For the life of me,I just don’t understand how someone even decides to start using drugs.It isn’t an illness that just happens.The individual chose that path.They should be responsible.
