Father Luiz Prim – Kairos Institute for Drug Rehabilitation – The Kairos Institute for Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation is a private residential drug rehab and alcohol addiction treatment centre located in rural Greater-Florianopolis area outside a place called “Fundos” in the town of Biguasu (Port.is spelled Biguaçu). Our compassionate tedhnical director, father Luiz Prim, a Roman Catholic priest is committed to the belief that all individuals can and will become responsible for their own recovery from drugs and alcohol when given the proper level and quality of encouragement and substance abuse treatment. With guidance and support, our inpatients learn how to put aside their fears, grief, resentments and shame, and discover the new hope a clean and sober lifestyle offers. At The Recanto Silvestre alcohol and drug rehab centre and The Paz e Bem Rehab Farm (at Morro dos Cavalos – Maciambu in the town of Palhosa, port. spelled Palhoça) both run by father Prim. Our counsellors, support and medical staff are committed to providing each inpatient with individual and group attention, care and support. Limiting our residential care program to 25 participants allows our medical, counselling and support staff the flexibility and time to focus on each client as an individual.
