What do you call it when you get sick from trying to break your drug abuse? Like that period of time where you feel like you’re dying without it. It’s called something. Please help!!!!

You are correct, sickness from lack of a drug is withdrawal. It can be with illegal drugs or even a common drug like the caffeine in coffee.
If you mean a craving, like the person desperately wants the drug, its often referred to as a “fix”. Drug abusers will often seek their next “fix”

It is called withdrawal. See your doctor first.
I had the same problem with booze. I am not ashamed to tell you that I beat my fists again the wall or the floor and screamed purple words; I howled at the full moon every month for half a year ( and always wound up crying but I didn’t know why.)
I ate tons of candy and green grapes, and drank a lot of milkshakes.
